What is a Brand Makeover Challenge?
The Brand Makeover Challenge is a monthly brand brief challenge in which you create strategic branding for a fun fictional client.
Each month, you’ll receive a detailed and engaging brief designed to push your creativity and strategic thinking. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, everyone’s welcome! After you submit your designs, I’ll pick my top four favourites, and the community will vote for the ultimate winner.
The winner gets a special feature in my Story Highlights, gaining exposure within our creative community. This challenge is all about enjoying the process, learning, and connecting with fellow designers.

How are these briefs any different?
Our briefs stand out because they provide a complete picture: the target audiences, in-depth info about the brand, their personality and real challenges they face for you to solve.
Unlike most design challenges that give only a sentence or two about the brand and a few items of deliverables, our briefs require you to think strategically and creatively. This ensures your designs are not just visually appealing but also smart, effective, and ready to address real-world issues. The challenge is about demonstrating how strategic design can solve problems and make a meaningful impact.
We also offer a mockup of the "current branding" for you to redesign. This mimics real clients who need designs for specific dimensions or packaging. While you don’t need to use the mockup to participate, it adds an extra layer of challenge, showcasing your ability to adapt designs to specific media. This restriction can highlight your unique skills and make a massive difference in your portfolio.
